Hear Her Origin Story
In 2020, Jessica launched her career in the Aged Care industry and found a new career in Home Care. Her first walk in Aged Care began as a Scheduling Coordinator for an Aged Care Service Provider in Melbourne, Australia. With her passion lit and looking to further develop her skills and understanding of the industry, Jess then moved on to become a Case Manager for a local Aged Care Home Care Package provider. It was here that Jess found her true calling and place in the world: to help seniors in need.
Yet, assisting people to improve their quality of life from the end of a phone just wasn't enough for her. She decided to take on more industry work as an independent Support Worker, which allowed her to truly get to know the people she was helping and understand first hand what it was to be a Home Care hero. Over time, Jess was able to identify that one of the most valuable services she was providing her clients, no matter what task she was assigned, was companionship. A chance to connect and to form a friendship built on patience, compassion and dignity.
And so in 2022, Jess launched Happy Valley Home Care. An organisation that focuses on providing direct, ongoing assistance to the elderly community, while building relationships and becoming a treasured and integral part of their support network. Helping them to continue living their best life and keep their golden years golden.
